We don't only make coffees, we make people’s dreams come true at Better Coffee Corner

Everyone has a story to tell, and ours begins here. Better Coffee Corner at Sutcliffe Park Sports Centre, is located on large local Nature Reserve Park, and offers something a little more informal than your usual restaurant. From each specifically chosen item on our menu, the unique journey our coffee beans make, and our morally packaged mineral water, we want to share a story with you which we think makes our cafe extraordinary.

Food

We offer a range of fresh locally sourced sandwiches, cakes, hot food, salads and fair trade coffee. Our cafe's have become the perfect stop for locals wanting freshly made items, served with a smile by amazing staff members. Our suppliers are as passionate about good food as we are, and we have handpicked all of our suppliers based on their commitment to quality and provenance.

Fair Trade Coffee

"We believe in ridiculously good coffee and ridiculously good business". Our coffee supplier, Café Direct, invest 50% of their profit into the CAFÉDIRECT PRODUCERS FOUNDATION. It's a UK charity that works directly with farmers to improve sustainability and livelihood, right across the coffee growing world. This charity is run by farmers, for farmers, taking leadership and developing an innovative solution to the challenges they face.

How a cup of coffee transforms people's lives?

Coffee Corner prides itself on its core social ethical commitments, so every coffee we sell, we donate 2p per hot drink to the GLL Sports Foundation. The GLL Sports Foundation is a largest independent athlete support schemes for talented young people striving for national and international sporting success. The GLL Sports Foundation supports young people with athletic talent to achieve their full sporting potential by reducing the financial burden of training and competition costs. Better Coffee Corner is pleased to announce that in 2017, we donated £6,059.80 to GLL's Sports Foundation through sales of hot drinks. 

Belu Water Aid

We sell Belu Water at all our Better Coffee Corner outlets across the UK. Belu has partnered with the charity 'Water Aid', and gives 100% of their profits to help end water poverty. We have donated £2,028.68 to Water Aid through our fellow social enterprise Belu Water.

Healthy Catering Commitment

Better Coffee Corner at Sutcliffe Park is committed to serving healthier and fresh food to our customers. All our hot food is oven baked, free from oil and any unnecessary fat. Plus 70% of our drinks are organic with no added sugar.
