Events coming up in Mere Green

As most people are aware, community is a massive part of being a member or staff at Better Gym Mere Green and to show this we are running events though this year to try and get as many people involved as possible!

Our first event this year will once again be the football tournament at Sutton united, this will be the second year we have had this tournament and are trying our best to make it bigger and better than last year. We had 3 teams battle it out last year to find our overall winners, people of all ages and abilities came along to play, based off what were hearing around the gym were planning on nearly doubling that number of attendees already!

You can secure your place for the football tournament by paying the £5 fee at reception, we will then be able to start putting the teams together to fight it out for our Mere Green trophy once again!

The second event we are running this year is to take as many members as possible to run Tough Mudder up in lincoln! We have 8 members of staff aswell as 30 members coming with us to do Tough Mudder, we are hoping its a really fun filled day, with some sun, lots of mud and maybe even a little bit of friendly competition!

Unfortunatly you can no longer sign up for this years Tough Mudder event directly with us, but if you did want to come along you are more than welcome to buy your own ticket from the Tough Mudder website and there are a few seats left on the coach, so speak to Ben about getting one of them reserved!

We are planning a third event later in the year, with details still being finalised, once both of these events have passed we will give out details to be able to book tickets for the final member event of the year! We want to be able to get as many people involved once again so be sure to keep your eyes peeled late summer to see what we are planning!
