We are thrilled to be able to tell you about the new pieces of equipment we have added to our gym floor.

If you are looking to mix up your cardio routine or add a little bit of HIIT into your training routine our new Ski Erg is the perfect piece of equipment for you. The Ski Erg concept 2 monitor allows you to select pre-set programs or design your own to suite your fitness goals. If like us you’ve been following the winter Olympics you will have seen our Team GB cross country skiers in action, if you want to get a little taste of what they go through in their sport this will give you an insight in to what their sport entails.

The Ski Erg helps to build your stamina through your whole body having to drive with your core and arms to pull the handles. A great exercise to throw into a circuit or to use as a finisher at the end of your workout.

Our new Half Hex Trap Bar has been added in to our already well stocked Free Weights area. The Deadlift is already a staple exercise for many in their training programs and this new addition could help push your training to the next level. The Half Hex Trap Bar brings lots of benefits to your weight training including all body strength development, variety of handle sizes and heights to emphasise work on grip strength. The trap bar deadlift also has greater quad engagement then a deadlift with a straight bar which can be more beneficial to those taking part in sports or looking to work on the squat strength whilst getting in some deadlift work at the same time.
