Tennis lessons restarted in the majority of Better's indoor tennis centres last week.

Pupils were welcomed back with some additional measures in place to ensure lessons were safe for all.

Tennis coaches were on hand to meet and greet players at the entrance to the centre, taking them through the building to ensure they were able to follow the new customer routes through to the courts.

Some adjustments have been made in the lessons to ensure social distancing is maintained and we look forward to welcoming Adults and Children aged 5+ returning to lessons at the following venues:

- Islington Tennis Centre
- Gosling Sports Park
- Bodmin
- Manchester Tennis Centre
- Sutton Sports Village
- White Horse
- Ulverston

The Tom Daley Diving Academy returned to the London Aquatics Centre on the 14th September, weekly lessons for those wanting to learn how to dive resumed for the first time in 6 months.

Pupils are asked to arrive at least 5 mins ahead of their lesson and turn up pool ready. Hundreds returned back to the scene of Tom Daley's 2012 Olympic Bronze medal in an attempt to follow in his footsteps.

Lessons take place weekdays and weekends and are available for children 5 years + and Adults.

Tennis Coach Sam Bruce said:"The experience of the National lockdown has been a stark reminder of the importance of the activities that we offer. Not only do our coaches run sessions that enhance the wellbeing of the children they coach, but they also support the children in their wider development."

Dive Coach Sam Buck said: “Looking around the poolside it’s such a pleasure to see so many happy smiley faces getting stuck in to a sport such as diving again after the long lockdown.  It’s clear to see that both the children and the adults have missed the thrills and challenges of diving."

TDDA Pupil said: "I forgot how exciting diving is and I’m so glad to be back but the 5m is still just as scary!"

Better's Tennis, Diving and Swimming and Swimming Lessons are all allowed under the Government's Covid Secure regulations.
