Looking to push your fitness to the next level? HYROX in Cardiff is now available at Better Eastern Leisure Centre. Our new classes offer a full-body, high-intensity workout designed to build strength, endurance and stamina. Get ready to tackle functional training like never before. What's even better, HYROX classes are included in all Better Health citywide memberships.

Who is it for?

HYROX is for everyone! Whether you’re a fitness newbie, a regular gym-goer, or aiming for a HYROX competition, this class is for you.

It’s ideal for:

  • Fitness enthusiasts looking to boost overall strength, stamina, and endurance.
  • Those who want to add functional training to their routine.
    People preparing for HYROX competitions, or anyone curious about what the event involves.
  • Anyone who thrives in a motivating, group environment.

Whether you’re training for a HYROX event or simply looking for an exciting, challenging workout, our instructors will support and guide you at every step. The class is adaptable, so you can train at your own pace while still pushing yourself towards your goals. Try our Hyrox at Eastern classes today!

What you’ll be doing

Our HYROX classes are designed to challenge every part of your fitness, combining strength and endurance in an action-packed hour session.

Each class will be programmed differently, the aim of the class is to provide a high energy environment to support you with building fitness, strength and endurance. During the class you will be coached exercises to perform to support with the exercises programmed into the fitness race format.  

Do not worry If you are not a strong runner, these classes offer many regressions and progressions to tailor the workout to each individual. 

Equipment that you will use during the class will include the following 

  • Treadmills / Skill Mills 
  • Rowers
  • Ski Ergs
  • Assault Bikes
  • Wall Balls
  • Sandbags 
  • Kettlebells

All classes make most of the equipment and space for a truly immersive and motivating workout experience.

What is HYROX?

HYROX is a global fitness race designed to test your strength, endurance and mental toughness. It combines functional movements with endurance challenges, creating a unique blend of strength training and cardio. The format includes 8 different workout stations, broken up by 1-kilometre runs, giving you a full-body workout.
