Team Barnet brought energy, passion, and plenty of team spirit to this year’s Club Games 2025, taking on events across swimming, walking football, pickleball, badminton, and short tennis. From the first whistle to the final medal, Barnet’s competitors gave it their all - and it showed!

The action began on Thursday 18th September at Barnet Copthall Leisure Centre with the Timed Swim event for the Barnet, Enfield, and Welwyn & Hatfield GLL partnerships. Swimmers were fuelled by tea, coffee, fruit, and a buzz of excitement as they took on a 45-minute endurance challenge. With cheers echoing around the pool and music pumping, every swimmer pushed themselves to the limit before celebrating with medals, smiles, and plenty of team pride.

On Friday 26th September, the Walking Sports and Pickleball competitions took place at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, where Barnet’s players delivered outstanding performances. Both pickleball teams impressed with their skill and strategy, earning third place, while the walking football team narrowly missed the final after a 1–0 semi-final loss to Hackney, who went on to win the title.

The grand finale came on Wednesday 1st October at the Copper Box Arena, where the main Club Games events unfolded. The Barnet badminton teams battled through to the semi-finals, and the short tennis players made a strong debut with fast-paced, high-energy matches.

From start to finish, Team Barnet embodied the true spirit of the Club Games - teamwork, determination, and community pride.

A huge thank you goes to all the players, leaders, and volunteers who made this year such a success. Club Games 2025 was truly one to remember for Team Barnet!
