At Better Gym Bexleyheath and Better Gym Sidcup, we’re proud to support young people aged 11–16 with a safe, welcoming and motivating space to stay active, build confidence, and learn healthy fitness habits for life.
Our Junior Gym programme is designed to help young members improve their fitness, develop strength safely, and enjoy exercise in a supportive environment alongside qualified fitness staff.
We currently offer dedicated Junior Gym sessions in the morning at 7:00am-8:00am and during the afternoon between 3:30pm-5:30pm, alongside these times during the half term we will be adding a 10:00am-12:00pm slot to cater for everyone during their time off school
These supervised sessions give juniors access to selected gym equipment while helping them learn correct techniques, gym etiquette, and how to train responsibly.
Whether your child is completely new to fitness or already active in sports, our team is here to guide and encourage them every step of the way.
We also offer exciting Junior Strength & Conditioning classes, specially tailored for young people aged 11–16. These sessions focus on things like building strength safely, improving coordination and balance, increasing fitness and endurance, developing confidence in the gym and supporting sports performance and overall wellbeing
Classes are fun, energetic, and suitable for all abilities, making them a great way for juniors to stay motivated while training with others their age.
Being active from a young age can have a huge positive impact on both physical and mental wellbeing. Our Junior Gym programme encourages healthy habits, teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence in a friendly and inclusive setting.
