Join us this summer at Manchester Regional Arena for our fantastic athletics camps. Each one is event specific and you’ll be training with some of the UK’s most talented athletes and their coaches!
Pole Vault with Lazarus Benjamin and Coach Andy Ashurst
Monday 24th July 2023, 10am to 12noon for ages 10 to 16 years, £9
Lazarus is a GB Junior Athlete competing in the Pole Vault. He is a 3 times English Schools Champion and competed in 3 International competitions for Great Britain. Lazarus has been placed 3rd at the British Championship twice, placed 5th at the European U20 Championships and 7th at the World U20 Championship. Lazarus is going to the European U20 Championships this year.
Sprints with Success Eduan and her Coach Anita Richardson
Thursday 27th July 2023 10am to 12noon for ages 10 to 16 years, £9
England outdoor 200m Champion U15, U17 x 2 years, U20 x 3 years. England Champion indoors U15, U17 and U20 2 years. English Schools Champion x 3. Loughborough international x 3 years 100 then 200m. Manheim International 2022 200m 2nd and 100m 2nd and 4x 100m relay. European U20 Championships 2022 3rd and 1st 4x 100m relay. UKA Senior indoor 200m champion 2023.
High Jump with Martins Ogendenbe and his Coach Seun Okome
Thursday 3rd August 2023 10am to 12noon for ages: 10 to 16 years, £9
Martins currently attends Loreto College where he studies Sports, Spanish and Science. He has been training as a High Jumper for 2 years where he has achieved good process such as winning National competitions to School Games Champs. Most recent achievement competing in Slovakia. PB 2.00m Ranked No. 2 in the North West of England.
Shot with Annabel Amadin and her Coach Bob Gaisie
Monday 21st August 2023 10am to 12noon for ages: 12 to 16 years, £9
Annabel Amadin is a female U20 Shot Putter ranked 5th in the UK Shot-Put rankings with a PB of (13.39m). In 2022 Annabel won the Shot at the Northern U17 Championships, was 2nd in the ESAA English Schools and won the England Athletics U17 Championships. This year Annabel has come 1st in the Shot Put in the Northern U20 Championships and was 2nd in the ESAA English Schools 2023.
Discus with Annabel Amadin and her Coach Bob Gaisie
Tuesday 22nd August 2023 10am to 12noon for ages 12 to 16 years, £9
As well as the Shot-Put Annabel is also an incredibly talented Discus Thrower, ranked 6th in the UK Discus Rankings with a PB of 43.70m. In 2022 Annabel won the Discus in the Northern U17 Championships, came 2nd in the England Athletics U17 Championships and came 1st in the 2022 School Games. In the Discus in 2023 Annabel has come 1st in the Northern U20 Championships.
