On Friday the 10th of December, 20 East End Pool gym members took part in a two hour Spinathon here at the gym.

The session was split into 3 parts - each part focussing on a range of feel good hits from the 80s, 90s and 2000s.

After a small introduction  Ashley started the evning off with hits from the 2000s, Paul followed this with tunes from the 1990s and the session was wrapped up with songs from the 1980s delivered by Peter.

The event was organised to raise money for a local charity Newcastle Carers based in Byker. .

To date over £300 has been raised. Claire, one of our valued customers who attends classes most days of the week was delighted when Newcastle Carers was chosen as the charity for this event. Claire said all money raised will go towards providing essential support to young carers in the local area aged 15 - 25.

A BIG well done to every one who took part in this event. It's fair to say that there were plenty of smiles and singing along to the music to help get through the two hour challenge! East End Pool would like to thank everyone who took part in the Spinathon and made it such a success.
