Winter Open Weekend November 22nd and 23rd
We are delighted to announce that we are running an open weekend this Winter on the 22nd and 23rd November.
Whether you're a first-time visitor or someone who has been curious about joining our community, we're thrilled to show you what we have to offer. Our Fitness Centre is all about promoting health, fitness, and well-being for individuals of a range of ages and abilities.
We offer a wide variety of facilities and services, including:
A large range of Gym equipment
Group Fitness Classes (like Yoga, Cycling, and Strength)
Personal training services to help you meet your fitness goals
Saturday 22nd November:
- 9:30am - 11am: Open Day Adult and Junior Gym Taster Session
- 10:45am - 11:45am: Open Day Mind and Body Fitness Master Class - Tai Chi Basics
- 1pm - 2:30pm: Open Day Gym Taster Session Adults
- 2pm -3pm: Open Day Dance Fitness Master Class - Zumba
Sunday 23rd November:
- 9:30am - 11am Open Day Adult and Junior Gym Taster Session
- 10:00am - 11:00am Open Day Cardio Fitness Master Class - Power Pump
- 11:15am-12:00pm - Open Day Mind and Body Fitness Master Class - Tai Chi Basics
- 12pm - 1:30pm Open Day Gym Taster Session Adults
Open Day Adult and Junior Gym Taster Session:
Description: Kickstart yours and your child's fitness journey with a free trial of the gym. Staff will be on hand to demonstrate machines and advise on the best ways to achieve your fitness goals.
Open Day Dance Fitness Master Class - Zumba:
Description: Get fit and feel great with our selection of Dance classes. From Zumba to Social Dance, these group exercise classes are guaranteed to put a smile on your face and help you stay active. Experience a few of the disciplines in this Dance Master Class.
Open Day Mind and Body Fitness Master Class - Tai Chi Basics:
Description: Feel better inside and out with our Mind and Body group fitness classes. Build your strength and flexibility in our lower-impact classes like Pilates and feel revived and relaxed with our mindfulness-focused sessions, such as Yoga. Experience a few of the disciplines in this Mind and Body Master Class
Open Day Strength and Conditioning Master Class - Power Pump
Description: Build muscle and feel better with our Strength and Conditioning classes. Experience great, motivational group exercise classes like Legs Bums and Tums and Circuit Training that’ll help you strengthen and condition your whole body. Experience a few of the disciplines in this Strength and Conditioning Master Class.
What do I need to bring?
Please wear comfortable and appropriate clothing for all classes and sports hall activities; equipment is provided. Please make sure you bring a towel and water with you.
What if I have a health condition?
Please make sure you let the members of staff know about any health conditions prior to activity.
What if I have never been before?
If you're new to any of the activities or unsure about using certain equipment, feel free to ask one of our staff members. We’re here to guide you. If you’re using the gym or taking part in any physical activities today, please ensure you’ve warmed up first. If you need guidance, our fitness instructors are here to help.
Non-members
Non-members can participate by creating a free account via the app or online at https://bookings.better.org.uk/register, then simply booking an available open day activity. As part of the registration process, customers must agree to the activity terms and conditions, which include a signed waiver granting access into the centre.
