This workshop aims to bring some understanding of how yoga works to bring balance to this area of the body. We will explore how the longer held passive postures of Yin Yoga encourages nourishment and fluidity in the tissues whilst the more active Yang Yoga promotes strength and stability.
Vital in this process is mindfulness of the body, listening for the subtle messages that your body is sending you. Meditation is part of our practice to develop this awareness, whilst Yin yoga gives us the opportunity to take this investigation deeper in to the body.
Suitable for all levels - Blocks provided but for your comfort you may wish to bring a blanket, towel or cushion for additional support.
