Guidelines for playing golf

ADVANCE BOOKING INFORMATION:
- Tee times will be limited to 2 balls
- Booking your tee time in advance is compulsory
- Members & players are not permitted to arrive at the club without booking in advance
- You must not be someone who is in a high-risk group or who has been self-isolating
- You must not be displaying COVID-19 symptoms
- Currently we are only open for social golf and no competitions
ARRIVAL:
- Golf equipment should be washed before you leave home
- Golfers should travel to the club alone, or with a member of the same household
- Ample car parking spaces are available to ensure social distancing
- You must arrive at the club, no more than 10 minutes prior to your reserved tee time
- You must always observe social distancing and remain 2 metres apart from golfers and staff
- The clubhouse and changing rooms are closed
- Please arrange golf attire and change footwear at your car
CHECK IN:
- It is mandatory to check in at the first tee with a member of staff
- When you are checking in, please remember to observe social distancing for our staff
- Scorecards will be available at the first tee
- Buggies and trollies will not be available during this time
CLUBHOUSE FACILITIES:
- The only areas of access are the toilets
- Toilets cleaned regularly and will have some sinks/urinals placed out of action to ensure social distancing
- Please remain 2 metres apart in the queue and observe social distancing
- A one way system will be in place
- All other areas are closed
TEEING OFF/ON THE COURSE:
- Tee times will be at a 10 minute interval
- Please arrive at the 1st tee no more than 5 minutes prior to the reserved tee time
- Please note that we will be patrolling all areas of the course to ensure social distancing is being adhered to
- Social distancing signage will be displayed around the course
- Any player(s) not following directions will be asked to leave the course immediately
- Tee off times strictly observed to ensure minimum 10-minute group spacing
- Social distancing must be observed throughout, particularly on tees and greens
- Ball washers have been removed from use
- Bunker rakes have been removed; players are required to smooth sand with feet prior to shot
- Flagsticks must be left in the hole and must not be touched
- The hole cups have been heightened for simple, contact-free ball retrieval
- Once a hole is completed, the group in front must have exited the tee box before players can progress to the next hole
- Do not double back to play again if a ball is lost, unplayable, or in a penalty area
- Equipment, food, and drink must not be exchanged between players
- Players must not pick up another player’s equipment or golf ball
- Players must not shake hands or high five handshakes
- The course closes at 3pm on weekdays and 2pm at weekends. You will be out on the course at your own risk during this time.
LEAVING THE CLUB SAFELY:
- Once you have completed your round, please return immediately to your car
- Changing rooms and other areas of the clubhouse are closed other than the toilets
- We recommend you wash your hands before departure
- When you arrive home, please ensure your clubs and equipment are cleaned thoroughly after use
