We are delighted to be working with the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) to bring free CPR awareness and life-saving information into our local leisure centres.

EEAST will be joining us at the Hatfield Health Day at Hatfield Leisure Centre on Friday 10th April, where the team will host an information stand and deliver a short talk focused on CPR awareness and community response.

The Health Day is aimed at young people, families and local residents, and this session offers a great opportunity to learn practical life-saving skills, ask questions, and build confidence around what to do in an emergency.

Following this, on Tuesday 14th April, EEAST will be setting up an information stand at Gosling Sports Park from 10am to 6pm. Visitors will be able to speak directly with paramedics, learn more about CPR, and find out how simple actions can make a real difference.

This partnership forms part of our wider commitment to improving health awareness and community safety across Welwyn Hatfield. By hosting EEAST in our centres, we hope to make vital information more accessible and encourage more people to feel confident responding in an emergency.

We are pleased to confirm that this is the start of an ongoing collaboration, with further dates planned at our leisure centres later in the year. More details will be shared soon.

Everyone is welcome to drop by the stands, ask questions, and get involved - no booking required.
