Summer Open Weekend 19th & 20th July
We are delighted to announce that we are running an open weekend this summer.
Whether you're a first-time visitor or someone who has been curious about joining our community, we're thrilled to show you what we have to offer. Our sports park is all about promoting health, fitness, and well-being for individuals and families of all ages and abilities.
We offer a wide variety of facilities and services, including gym, spa, trampoline park, tennis, skiing and much more! There is something for all the family!

There will also be mascot appearances throughout the day as well as fun and games in Soft Play and the trampoline park with the chance to win some great prices!

How do I book?
To book our open day activities please visit the Open Weekend Tab when booking and select the date you would like to attend.
What do the classes involve?

What do I need to bring?
Please wear comfortable and appropriate clothing for all classes and sports hall activities; equipment is provided. Please make sure you bring a towel and water with you.
What if I have a health condition?
Please make sure you let the members of staff know about any health conditions prior to activity.
What if I have never been before?
If you're new to any of the activities or unsure about using certain equipment, feel free to ask one of our staff members. We’re here to guide you. If you’re using the gym or taking part in any physical activities today, please ensure you’ve warmed up first. If you need guidance, our fitness instructors are here to help.
Do I have to be a member?
No, our open day sessions are open to everyone. Non-members can participate by creating a free account via the app or online https://bookings.better.org.uk/register then simply booking an available open day activity. As part of the registration process, customers must agree to the activity terms and conditions, which include a signed waiver granting access into the centre.
What should I expect from each class/activity?
Open Day Gym Taster Session
Duration: 90 minutes
Description: Kickstart your fitness journey with a free trial of the gym. Staff will be on hand to demonstrate machines and advise on the best ways to achieve your fitness goals.
Please note – Inductions will not be required - T&Cs will be agreed to at the point of booking. Staff should be on hand to assist customers
Open Day Adult & Junior Gym Taster Session
Duration: 90 minutes

Open Day Strength and Conditioning Masterclass
Duration: 30 minutes
Description: Build muscle and feel better with our Strength and Conditioning classes. Experience great, motivational group exercise classes like Legs Bums and Tums and Circuit Training that’ll help you strengthen and condition your whole body. Experience a few of the disciplines in this Strength and Conditioning Masterclass, with a taster circuits class.
Open Play Tennis Sessions
Come and play Tennis and meet new friends on our purpose built tennis courts. Coaches will be on hand to offer advice and coaching tips to help bring your tennis skills to the next level!
Junior Tennis Taster Sessions
A great opportunuty to introduce your child to a new sport to help them make new friends and develop their skills. With experienced coaches on hand this is a great opportunity to start a new hobby.
