Better Leisure Centres in Belfast reopened today, Friday 30 April, with customers flooding back to the activities they've been missing since December.

Centre staff teams have been working hard to prepare venues across the city and welcome customers to the gym and swims - once taken for granted.

Gareth Kirk, Regional Director for Better in Belfast said: "Given the huge demand for our outdoor fitness classes in recent weeks and the steady flow of customers this morning, it is clear there is a real appetite among the public to get back to exercise and fitness.

"The physical health of our population must be prioritised post COVID to help our national resilience and recovery."

Better Leisure Centres in Cardiff reopen on Monday 3 May.

All Better activities are offered in Covid Secure mode with pre-bookings on the Better_uk app, social distancing, one way systems and enhanced sanitization.
