Better are pleased to announce that twelve pieces of cardiovascular equipment have been installed at Culverhay Leisure Centre. The equipment has been added to the centre following feedback from our customers. The machines come with a range of new features including "Unity Touchscreens" and are part of the latest Technogym Excite+ range. They allow members to use a wide range of apps whilst exercising; including games! So, if you fancy knocking a couple of pigs for six in Angry Birds or a quick game of Backgammon or Mah-jong whilst you workout, you have a free license through the pre-installed apps on UNITY.

Alternatively, give yourself a change of scenery and use the Virtual Training module that allows users to run a selection of worldwide virtual courses, including destinations such as San Francisco and the French Alps.

Ruth Rich, General Manager at Culverhay Leisure Centre said “We’re pleased to announce that following feedback from our customers our gym at Culverhay Leisure Centre has been upgraded with the addition of this new cardiovascular equipment. In addition to encouraging more people to get active, this improvement will also improve the experience of visiting the gym for our existing members.”

The improvements follow a complete refurbishment of the gym at Bath Sports and Leisure Centre which opened in March.
