If you’re going to be using the gym, your everything starts with a 1-2-1 induction with one of our trained Fitness Instructors, who will help tailor a bespoke gym experience based on your specific needs, as well as introducing you to the gym and different types of machines and equipment.
Our staff are keen to share their wealth of knowledge and expertise to help put you at ease when discussing your goals and planning your regular exercise routine. For the more experienced, you can opt out and get straight to it.
Our facilities are staffed, so you are never far from help and support if you need it. Just ask a member of the Health & Fitness Team on the gym floor, or a member of staff anywhere in the building. We are always happy to help!
Are you under 18 and want to stay fit and healthy and have some fun? Our Junior membership at Girdwood Community Hub gives you access to loads of activities.
Your membership includes
- Inclusive access to the gym, fitness classes and swimming
- Inclusive personalised fitness induction and personal exercise programme
- Inclusive access to one Racquets court or Handball access within Belfast (1 court per day)
Junior Gym Sessions
Junior Gym Sessions run Monday to Friday. Access our gym and learn how to use equipment safely including cardio, resistance and weights
Session times are
Monday - Friday 3.30pm – 5.30pm.
Saturday 11am - 1pm
Adult and Child Sessions
Alongside our classes and sessions for under 11 - 17 yr olds, we also run adult and junior gym sessions where you can work out with your child. Like our other gym workout sessions, these give you and your child the chance to boost your fitness in the gym and use a range of equipment. While adults take full responsibility for children in these sessions, our expert Fitness Instructors are always on hand to help.
Our sessions run Monday - Friday 5.30pm-8pm and 10am-4pm on weekends.
