We are thrilled to share some exciting news about our most recent block of Football Factory. Both our 4–7-year-old and 8–11-year-old groups reached full capacity. The children had an blast. From exciting matches to skill-building drills, it was non-stop fun on the pitch. So, sit back and get ready to hear all about the fantastic time we had!

Throughout the weeks at Football Factory our very own Irish FA qualified coaches made sure to put on sessions that were not only engaging and fun, but focused on developing various skills that the children can carry with them as they grow in football. These skills aren’t limited to the pitch either, the children's use of communication skills and awareness was tested and improved throughout the 6 weeks of Football Factory. On top of the children having a fantastic time, so did our coaches. The best part of the job is the fulfilment in seeing the younger generation grow.

It was great to see children of all ages joining our Football Factory sessions. What was even more amazing was how they became friends, regalrdless of their age.  The youngest children, aged 4 to 7, were especially good at making friends with everyone. They were full of energy and always excited to play together. It showed how everyone, no matter how old they were, could get along and have fun together. Seeing these friendships grow during our sessions showed how football can bring people together, no matter their age.

Our 8-11-year-old group were fantastic once again, coming every week in their numbers, full of enthusiasm and a desire to play. During the six weeks we played a number of games, some old classics and some brand-new games that Football Factory has never seen before, lighting quickly became a fan favourite!

Our local community is at the heart of our operations at Avoniel, we decided to outreach to local schools, alongside liasing with our block bookers.

It was amazing to see so many children from within our local community taking part over the 6 weeks. We look forward to seeing you all at the next #FootballFactoryFridays on 26th April.
