Swim for All - 10p Swims

Families in Cumberland will have the perfect opportunity to splash around during the Summer Holidays in 2025 as The Sands Centre offers 10p Junior swimming sessions  between 10am-10:50am from Sunday 20th July to Sunday 31st August 2025 (excludes Satudays).

This initiative, delivered by Better, the UK’s largest operator of public leisure facilities, in partnership with Cumberland Council, ensures that swimming remains accessible to everyone, reinforcing Better’s commitment as a not-for-profit social enterprise. 

The 10p swim scheme is designed to encourage children and families to stay active, socialise, and have fun in a safe environment.
