Young Rainbow swim teacher, 18, to run the London Marathon
Ella Bishop, now 17, a resident swim teacher at Rainbow Leisure Centre, will be running this year’s London Marathon on Sunday 21st April in aid of the Samaritans.
Ella is a friendly and happy member of the team and all the staff at Rainbow are behind her.
Ella has always wanted to run and for her it’s a dream come true.
Ella’s story
“I’m running to show others that there is always hope, and to raise money to help Samaritans to be there day and night for anyone that is struggling to cope.
Every step I take and pound I raise will help train more volunteers, answer more calls and ultimately save lives.
I’m running with the official charity if the year to show millions of people that no matter what they are going through and what adversities they face, the Samaritans will be there to support them.”
