On 28th and 29th November 2025, the venue will host Queen & King of the Court London, an exciting international beach volleyball event that combines the energy of a festival with the thrill of top-level competition.
It’s been more than a decade since the world’s best beach volleyball players last competed on London’s legendary Olympic sand and now, the action returns with a fresh new twist.
What Is Queen & King of the Court?
Queen & King of the Court reimagines beach volleyball with a fast-paced, knockout format designed to keep fans on the edge of their seats.
Instead of two teams, five teams play on one court at the same time. Each rally is a race to reach and stay on the “Queen’s” or “King’s” side — the only side where points can be scored. After every 15-minute round, the lowest-scoring team is eliminated until only three remain to battle for the crown.
It’s quick, intense, and full of excitement. Whether you’re a long-time volleyball fan or completely new to the sport, the energy of this format makes it impossible not to cheer from start to finish.
