Southbury Leisure Centre are hosting our first SEND inclusive Open day - Sunday 25th May 2025.
Southbury Leisure Centre is excited to announce its very first SEND Inclusive open day on Sunday, 25th May 2025, from 9am-4pm.
The event will showcase a variety of activities on offer, for children and young people with SEND Needs and disabilities from ages 4-17 and promises to be a day filled with fun and festivities for families across Enfield.
Visitors can look forward to Foundation SEND swimming lessons designed to help beginner swimmers gain confidence in the water, whilst having fun. For younger children, there will be exclusive soft play sessions in our bespoke soft play facility, offering a safe and fun environment to explore and play.
Additionally, sports enthusiasts can participate in cricket and multisport session, perfect for honing skills and enjoying friendly competition and for gym enthusiasts, a tailored adult and junior SEND gym session, with a dedicated fitness instructor to guide and advise throughout the session.
All sessions are as follows:
9.15am-10am & 10.15am-11am - Cricket/Multisports
12pm-1pm - Adult & Junior Gym
12pm-1pm - Soft Play
3pm-4pm - Family fun swim
3pm-4pm & 3.30pm-4pm - Foundation Swimming lessons
This day will be a fantasitc opportunity the range of activities on offer across Enfield for children and young people with SEND and disabilities but also an opportunity to discover the fantastic facilities available at the Southbury Leisure Centre.
