New Sport Inclusion Funded project MovementWorks comes to Ferndale!

MovementWorks - An Autism Movement Therapy group have introduced a 12 week programme for 7-16 year olds with autism and their neurotypical peers. This class specfically targets the functions of the brain using music and independent movement to strengthen the body and brain connection.

One parent revealed the success of the programme stating: "If I hadn't seen the transformative (and measureable effect) for myself, I wouldn't have believed dance would be such an effective tool for communication and therapy"

Classes starting on: Monday 11th November to Monday 16th December,

7-11 year olds 4:30-5:30pm,

12-16 year olds 5:30-6:30pm

Location: Ferndale Community Sports Centre 

This project falls under the third window of the Sport Inclusion Fund where funding is available for projects delivered in Lambeth for the benefit of its residents.
