Bellingham to host Felix Fresh food giveaway

We’re delighted to share that Bellingham Leisure & Lifestyle Centre, in partnership with The Felix Project, will be delivering our first Fresh Food Giveaway on Thursday 13th November, from 1pm–3pm.

Local residents will be able to pick up a wide variety of fresh fruit and vegetables - from staples such as potatoes, carrots and onions to seasonal apples, greens and more. In total, an estimated eight tons of produce will be available for the community to take home, free of charge.

The Fresh Food Giveaway is a great opportunity for local families to stock up on healthy, fresh food and enjoy the benefits of nutritious eating without the extra cost. To find our more about Felix Project and the work they do please visit

If the weather is dry we’ll be hosting this on the paving by the main reception by in front of the Softplay. If the weather is wet we’ll be hosting this in the Café area.

Everyone is welcome - just bring your bags, boxes or trolleys and help yourself to some delicious fresh produce.
