Come join us to celebrate our 30th Birthday

This July Better (Greenwich Leisure Limited, GLL) celebrates its 30^th birthday. To celebrate our 30^th birthday the centres across Lewisham will be hosting a variety of events to celebrate this occasion.

The centres will be going all the way back to 1993 over the weekend of the 22^nd and 23^rd July.  Our aerobics classes will be filled with all the best and greatest hits of 1993. If you are a regular class user on the Saturday why not wear your best 90’s themed outfit

There will be balloons, sweet treats, gym and athletics track challenges and 1990’s themed fancy dress, as well as the obligatory 30^th birthday, birthday cake

Over the weekend of the 22^nd and 23^rd July will be running the following activities across the Lewisham partnership

Bellingham Leisure & Lifestyle Centre Sunday 23^rd July

• 90s themed music played throughout the centre
• Face painting & Glitter tattoos.
• 90's themed GEX class.
• Birthday themed arts and crafts activities in soft play

Forest Hill Pool 22^nd & 23^rd July

• A free Zumba showcase on café patio.
• Gym challenge (adult & junior)
• History of GLL wall.
• Sweet treats.

Glass Mill Leisure Centre – Saturday 22^nd July

• Gym Challenge
• 90's themed GEX Classes
• 90 Minute Super Class

Ladywell Arena 22^nd & 23^rd July

• The aim is to run 30 laps for 30 years of GLL.

Wavelengths Leisure Centre 22^nd & 23^rd July

• Free family swim sessions 10am and 3pm both days.
• Open weekend in the gym

In the run up to our 30^th birthday weekend, children in our Better Swim School will have additional fun and games mixed into their usual learn to swim lessons. We will also be running a colouring competition across the partnership.
