Exciting Gym upgrade completed at Morden Leisure Centre

At Better, we’re committed to providing excellent facilities for everyone in your local community. That’s why we’re thrilled with our recent upgrades over the past week to the gym at Morden Leisure Centre.
 
What happened? 

We invested in new gym equipment, including an upgraded functional rig and new flooring in the free weights area, to help you work towards a healthier you. 
 
What’s new? 

Latest Technogym equipment:  
- Another half rack 
- T-Bar row 
- Hip Thrust machine. (Please note this will be delivered soon)
- Adjustable bench 
- Additional small equipment, plus more plate holders and discs.

A brand-new functional rig: 
- A Tri Bar  
- An A bar holder 
- 45-degree wing (Monkey bars for pull up exercises)
- Landmine 
- Target board for wall balls. 
- Continuous rope & attachment 
- Dip attachment 
- Battle rope attachments 
- 2 bays & additional equipment storage  
- Olympic bar for squatting 

New tiled flooring throughout the free weights area.

Plus, an extension of the tiles into the cardiovascular area of the gym was added. This will help improve maintenance and cleanliness throughout this area and give an improved space, giving a much better customer experience for all gym users.

These improvements only took a few days. The gym was fairly quiet across those 4 days which is why the work was completed at this time. Work was also completed over the weekend after the Centre had closed too. This was again, to try and reduce as much disruption as possible. 
We truly appreciate your understanding whilst this work was being completed. We’re confident the enhanced facilities was worth the brief inconvenience. 

What is still to come……….

Please be aware that we are continually looking at improving our facilities and already we are planning for more equipment to make the functional area even better very soon. Plus more equipment next year as well! WATCH THIS SPACE!
