Older Adult Activity

On Friday 22nd October in partnership with Age UK Waltham Forest and Leyton Orient Community Trust, Team Waltham Forest competed at the Better Club Games Walking Football. The team did their borough proud getting to the semi finals at Crystal Palace National Sport Centre. Better Club Games is a celebration of older adult activity and provides friendly competition for over 60s between the areas which Better operate. The main event took competition taking place at the Olympic Park on the 26^th September. Approximately 20 regions from London and as far north as Rugby took part. The sports that take place across Better Club Games are Walking Football, Walking Netball, Table Tennis, Dominos, Timed Cycle (static bike), Darts, Badminton, Short Tennis and Swimming.

If you like the gym with a Pay and Play card you can access off peak hours for £4.40. If you like fitness classes you can attend off peak for £4.90 and we recommend the classes on the below list as they are tailored for older adults or you may prefer the monthly membership which includes fitness classes.
