Gym doubles in size!

Have you been to the gym recently? If you have you will have noticed it has doubled in size! That’s right, we know you have been requesting more space and machines, we were listening and have taken action.    
 
Score Leisure Centre opened its doors to the public on October 16th, 2024, so, we are inviting you to our upcoming 1st birthday celebration which you can read about through this article.  
 
It is important to take on board feedback from members and continue to improve. We received a lot of comments that the original building was great but surprise that there was no gym so in December 2024 we invested in the instillation of a gym. In the initial period it served its purpose but as our members increased their strength and numbers, we received suggestions for heavier weights and a bigger space with more machines. 
 
Since opening, Score Leisure Centre has become a vibrant hub for fitness and wellbeing, welcoming people of all ages and abilities. As a social enterprise we reinvest back into the facilities and the community.

Score Leisure Centre is situated on Coronation Square, a new Waltham Forest Council development designed to be the new centre of Leyton. The expectations are there will be an increase in footfall once the retail units get assigned. We are part of the Leyton Consortium which is a new network of community stakeholders in the area who are trying to ensure the development benefits as many residents as possible. 
 
At Score Leisure Centre we want to ensure high quality customer service, support our members to achieve their health goals, and engage the local community in exercise. The significant gym expansion and free sessions for the birthday party celebration are evidence that we mean what we say.
