New way to pay for car parking

To modernise the way our users can pay for their car parking and to be more environmentally friendly by the removal of the paper scratch card booklets which centres have used until now, we will be introducing an automated number plate reader (ANPR) system commencing Monday 11th April 2022 across Waltham Forest Leisure Centres

Members can download and register for the Y-Pay app, once registered you can then add your membership number (found on membership cards or the Better UK App) in order to receive the members discount on your parking (pre-paid members only) This will be sent to centres to approve, so please allow 2 working days for centres to approve this.

Blue Badge holders need to validate their parking at reception on each visit, please ensure you bring your blue badge with you to a member of staff at reception to validate your parking for the visit

Alternatively users can pay for parking using the machines located within the car park, simply enter your vehicle registration number on the machine and pay via card or contactless payment (please note the machines will not accept Apple and Android pay for the first week)

Please follow the instructions on the PDF document attached and for any issues, please contact Y Pay:
