Located in the heart of E17 on Markhouse road, at Walthamstow Leisure Centre we are committed to offering you the best possible facility and supporting you wherever you may be on your fitness journey. Whether you want to pump those muscles or burn away the calories join the fitness team, the newly updated and renovated 55-station gym will have everything you're looking for and more. Come and sweat it out in one of our wide range of fitness classes, from yoga and box-fit to step aerobics, all delivered by our team of dedicated and experienced fitness class instructors. We also have a sports hall with six badminton courts, four single basketball courts and two squash courts, so we invite you to bring a partner along and enjoy a friendly or even a competitive game. Don't think we've forgotten about the juniors, however, as our centre is happy to offer daily access to 11-17-year-olds during allotted junior gym hours. If your kids are looking for other activities, we are proud to be able to offer an extensive gymnastics programme as well as weekly basketball sessions which are suitable for all levels of ability and experience.
