Westminster Boating Base Hosts Open Day on 4th May

Westminster Boating Base will be hosting an Open Day on Monday 4th May, aimed at giving local young people and their families the opportunity to access activities on the water.

Young people aged 8 and over will be able to take part in powerboating. To take part in sailing or kayaking you must be aged 10 or over.

These exciting activities will take place from 10.30am to 4pm on the day and will include the opportunity to try a kayaking group session, a sailing ride along the river or a trip in one of our Powerboats. 

Session times will be:10.30am - 12pm, 12.30pm - 2pm and 2.30pm - 4pm. Please bring a change of clothing and suitable shoes that cover your toes.

Attendance at the event will work on a first come first served basis on the day of the event, so no pre booking is available. Doors will open at 10.15am. This is so that the activity is as accessible as possible.
