Bridge College Work Experience

Here at East Manchester LC we have recently hosted three work experience students from a local Bridge College. The students attended the centre for 1 day a week each, during their time in the centre they helped on reception. whilst on reception both staff and customers had passed comments on just how well they did whilst here. 

The students helped with a range of different tasks whilst on reception from just simply greeting and checking people in to dealing with membership problems and booking future activities. They all did so well and dealt with each new challenge with such ease and professionalism. 

The staff at the centre has recently received amazing feedback from Bridge college on how we have helped the students whilst in their role, the staff had made the students feel so welcome and comfortable that they made numerous comments that we were their favourite placement. 

The partnership we currently have with Bridge college is something we are proud of and will be looking to continue with throughout the year.
