Manchester Aquatics Centre on Booth Street East is home to a Commonwealth standard 50-metre pool, one of the few in the country, alongside a 25-metre pool, diving pool and family splash area. With four gyms covering cardio, strength, functional training and a women-only space, there's options to suit every kind of workout. Classes include yoga, Pilates, HIIT, group cycle, boxfit and dance fitness, plus aqua sessions in the pool. The functional training zone gives you space for strength and conditioning work, and there's a health suite to relax in after. We run swimming lessons, Aqua Splash sessions and diving programmes. The centre supports local universities and works with sports clubs and is the proud home of Aquatics GB Performance Centre, keeping students, athletes and the wider Manchester community active. This facility is part of a unique collection of community and elite facilities governed by Manchester Active, a not for profit organisation established and overseen by Manchester City Council.
