Eduan Succeeds in China

The 20-year-old received the baton just behind Spain’s Maria Isabel Perez and Jamaica’s Shericka Jackson, but she overpowered them both and also held off USA’s Olympic 4x100m champion Twanisha Terry to take gold.

“I don’t even know what happened – I just went past them. That is all I did," said Eduan.

Success is a Sale Harriers Athlete, coached by Anita Richardson and trains here at the Regional Arena. Success adds the World Relays Gold to her Eurpoean U20 Bronze medal in the 200m and a Silver medal in the relay.

Success lives in Blackley, went to St Mathews (Blackley) and Loreto College in Manchester. As well as beating the best in the world Success is also doing Midwifery at Salford University and is on placement at North Manchester General Hospital
