North City Poolside Shower Refurbishment Progresses

As a social enterprise, we are committed to ensuring our facilities, programmes and staff teams are continually re-invested in. This ensures the standard of service we are able to offer continues to meet customer needs, both now and in the future.

After some constructive customer feedback regarding the age and condition of our shower facilities, we took immediate action and planned in some much need investment.

In order to ensure minimum disruption to our services, these works were commenced prior to Christmas, traditionally the quietest period for swiming pools, and we have proceeded with one shower block at a time. We would like to thank all of our customers, members and centre users for their patience during this time, and I'm sure the end result will more than make up for this disruption.

We are delighted to announce that the first of the two shower blocks in the pool changing rooms has now been fully refurbished and is now re-open to the public, and we think it looks amazing, and hope you do too! Take a look at the photos below!

The refurbishment of the second shower block will commence on Monday 31st January and is expected to take around two weeks, again we thank you for your patience during this time
