Here at Fulwood Leisure Centre, in Preston, our Junior Health and Fitness membership is specifically designed to help 11 to 17 year-olds get off to a great start in the gym. For just £20 a month they can sign up for our all-inclusive Junior membership and your child will have access to junior gym, swim for all, badminton courts, squash courts and table tennis sessions at both Fulwood and West View Leisure centre.
To ensure the safety of all junior members, we provide a Junior Gym Induction led by a qualified fitness instructor who will demonstrate how to properly use the equipment and perform exercises. All juniors must book this induction prior to their first Junior Gym session. Please ensure to provide proof of age, this can either be your passport or birth certificate.
For our adult and junior gym, the junior needs to book rather than the adult. All juniors are required to undertake an induction before admittance.
The sessions will be chargable for the junior (unless pre-paid member) and the adult either needs to be a pre-paid member or book and pay for a gym session.
These sessions are for 11-17 year old.
The adult is required to actively supervise the junior if they are aged 11-15 years old.
Our Junior Gym sessions enable children aged between 11 and 17 to access the gym. These supervised sessions take place on weekdays between 3pm-5pm and weekends 10am-4pm. Please ensure you have completed your junior gym induction prior to booking your first junior gym session. Sessions cost £5.50 per child or free included in your junior membership.
Table tennis is a great sport that is fun to play and a great way to socialise with friends. With our junior gym memberships, you can now book table tennis sessions. These 40-minute slots are accessible to book through the Better UK app, online or in centre. Table tennis paddles are available to hire at the reception desk for £1.
