This Christmas Better Leisure Centres in Reading are collecting donations of gifts between the 1st December and 14th December for patients who will be in the Royal Berkshire Hospital on Christmas Day and for Children/Families who are supported by Rainbow Trust.

Rivermead Leisure Centre, Meadway Sports Centre and South Reading Leisure Centre are all supporting the Royal Berkshire Hospital Charity in their bid to collect enough donations to provide a present to every patient in the Hospital on Christmas Day. That's a total of 900 gifts! Following our successful Easter Egg donation (where we donated over 420 Easter Eggs) we are keen to continue supporting our local hospital and members of our community who are spending time in their care.

Palmer Park is supporting Rainbow Children's Trust, a Charity which supports families who have a child aged 0-18 with a life-threatening or terminal illness. This is a charity which both Palmer Park and Rivermead have supported this year by providing Soft Play entry to sibilings of Children with a life-threatening or terminal illness. Rainbow Children's Trust will be hosting their Christmas Party at Palmer Park Leisure Centre and they hope to be able to provide all 50 Children with a Christmas gift!
