Join in with National Fitness Day, the biggest physical activity celebration of the year, on Wednesday 20th September 2023, at one of your local Better Centres! Run by UKActive, National Fitness Day aims to encourage the nation to get moving and bring people together.

With more than a quarter of the population classed as inactive (completing on average less than 30 mins of exercise per week) this year’s theme for National Fitness Day is Your Health Is For Life.

Together, in partnership with UKActive, we want you to get involved and recognise the life-long physical and mental health benefits that being active can have.

In support of this, as a Charitable Social Enterprise, we are offering free sessions to support local communities to get active and have fun. Whether you are a member or not, you are able to sign up to take part in a free activity – so why not bring your friends along too? All activities must be booked in advance, either through the app, in centre or online.

To celebrate National Fitness Day, we are hosting the following free sessions for you, your friends and family, to get involved with across all four centres in Reading:
