From the 13th - 19th May it's Mental Health awareness week,

Mental health problems can affect anyone, any day of the year, but this is a great time to show your support for better mental health and focus on your own wellbeing too!

We all have mental health and from time to time we can experience mental ill health. Nearly two thirds of us will have experienced mental ill health at some point in our lifetime.

1 in 6 people in the past week have experienced a common mental health problem.  Anxiety and depression are the most common problems, with around 1 in 10 people affected at any one time.

Being mentally healthy doesn’t just mean that you don’t have a mental health problem – it’s about thriving not just surviving.

We can all raise the awareness of mental health by talking about our own mental health more openly.

Mental Health Charity Mind, reccommend 6 relaxation techniques;
