Friday 16th March saw 10 different teams of year 5/6 girls compete on the 3G pitches at Ulverston Lesiure Centre.
Organised by Active Communities Co-ordinator Hannah Paling and overseen on the day by Penny Bridge School teacher Graham Carrick, the teams played 5 games of 6-a-side footbal during a cold and windy afternoon - all for fun.
Teams came from schools within Ulverston and from as far afield as Conniston and Barrow. Some matches were very close, all were played with great sportswomanship on display. A great afternoon was had by all.
