CENTRE UPDATE- WHAT'S ON?
March update
This March, our customers and staff have donated some Easter treats to Julia's House.
Julia’s House is not a typical children’s hospice. They provide practical and emotional support for families caring for a child with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, providing frequent and regular support in their own homes, in the community or at our hospices.
January update
A huge thank you to our customers for your support and patience while we worked on re-opening the centre over these past few months.
As of today, the Link Centre has reopened all its facilities.
Swimming Pool
We are happy to announce that the Swimming pool opened today, Tuesday 2nd January. Work will continue over the next few months in the pool area and final works on the pool plant should be completed in February. During this time it may be necessary to close the area at points during the day.
Learn to swim lessons start from Thursday 4th January.
Ice Rink
The ice rink programme will be increasing from Monday 8th January when we welcome back all our clubs and in the next few weeks we will be introducing our Friday night late skate.
Learn to skate lessons start back Saturday 6th January.
Health & Fitness
Our Gym changing room and showers are now available.
From Tuesday 9th January, our popular Social Dance session will be back 14.00-16.00.
In addition from next week, we have the following new classes.
- Mondays Group Cycle 06.30-07.15 with Jamie
- Fridays Power Pump 10.30-11.30 with Emma
We'd like to inform our customers with reduced mobility that our lift is unfortunately still not operational. In the meantime, we kindly ask people unable to use the stairs to get to thea Studio or Swimming Pool to talk to reception upon arrival so that our staff can open the ramp access for them.
