August Member of the Month – Frances-Ann Burrows

All the team here at Hatfield Swim Centre would like to send a massive congratulations to Frances-Ann Burrows, who has been nominated as August Employee of the Month.

Ann has been a member of Hatfield Swim Centre since November 2013. She has certainly seen many changes at the swim centre during her time as a member here.

When Ann first started coming to us, it was more for the social aspect as well as the fitness aspect of being a part of a gym. As well as this, Ann has brought many friends to us who are now members. Along the way, she has made a lot more friends who she sees regularly and has helped in her original decision to join the gym. To be able to socialise with people from all walks of life. These people have grown over the years to be more than just “Gym Buddies”. We are glad we have been able to play a small part of that for Ann.

Ann has said that it feels like one big family every time she comes here. She has even said when you don't see somebody for a few days, you definitely notice their absence and want to make sure they're okay. Ann has been quoted to say “you get so used to spending so much time with people that you grow to care about them outside of the gym environment as well”

Ann enjoys coming here because staff are lovely people to have a chat with. She feels that the staff really care about the customers here and are always there to help whenever needed. It feels us with joy to hear such kind words and we hope to continue this going forward.
