Better Stanborough Park are delighted to say that Culture Wood Forest School has recently restarted it’s program of events at Stanborough Park.

Culturewood offer a variety of of outdoor based workshops, including from Forest Schools for families, Forest Schools for school groups & Forest Schools for home educators. Stanborough is particularly proud to play host to Culturewood’s Adult Woodland Well-being sessions for adults; one of their newer initiatives, introduced following the pandemic. The spacious green vistas of Stanborough park, as well as the views of the tranquil waters make for an ideal inviting space to gather as a group to appreciate the calming qualities nature can bring.

The school offers a unique educational experience that has been providing children and adults with an immersive outdoor learning experience for over a decade. The school's philosophy is centred around the belief that children learn best when they are given the opportunity to explore and discover the world around them. The curriculum is designed to be hands-on and experiential, with a focus on environmental education, outdoor skills, and creative expression.

Culture Wood Forest School is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for all students. The staff are highly trained and experienced in working with children in an outdoor setting, and they take great care to ensure that each child's individual needs are met.

In addition to its regular programming, Culture Wood Forest School also offers a variety of special events and workshops throughout the year. These include nature walks, storytelling sessions, and craft workshops, among others. As well as the many sessions that the school run at Stanborough Park, they also offer sessions at several other sites across Hertfordshire.

Better are happy to work with Culture Wood Forest School as we feel it is a wonderful place for children to learn, grow, and explore the natural world around them in the surroundings of our beautiful park. The School’s commitment to outdoor education makes it a valuable asset to the local community and beyond and the staff at Better look forward to welcoming the Tanya and her groups for many years to come.
