Our Learn programme is perfect to meet your needs. Ideal for people who want to play once or twice per week in a fun, safe and stimulating environment.

Session
Description

School Years 1-3

(Mini Tennis Red)

For players 8yrs and under to learn Tennis on a small court with mini rackets and foam balls. They will learn the core movement skills as well as essential coordination and basic Tennis tactics and techniques. This will be done using fun activities to encourage players to learn to serve, rally and score.

School Years 4-5

(Mini Tennis Orange)

The orange ball is 50% slower than a yellow ball and this game is played on a smaller court. This helps players have better control at this important stage of development. Whilst learning the tactics and techniques of Tennis, players will enjoy fun games and competition to help them learn how to play and score.

School years 5-6

(Mini Tennis Green)

This is a continued development of technique now on a full-size court, with bigger rackets and balls which are a little softer than yellow. Players also progress to using power, spin and learning tactical concepts. Sessions include fun competition and further reinforce understanding of how to score.

School Years 6-11

(Junior Play)

Assisting players to continue their Tennis development on an adult sized court with real balls. Coaches will ensure that players enjoy the drills and games as well as enabling the social interactions between the members of the group.
Adult Tennis Catering for beginners to advanced adult players, our range of courses enables all adults to learn and better enjoy the sport of Tennis. With sessions usually held in the evening time, ranging between 1 and 2 hours. Often the focus is around developing skills in a doubles context, although our flexible team of coaches will strive to meet the needs of all in the groups.
