Senior Club Games 2025
On Wednesday 1st October 2025, Better are hosting the Senior Club Games at York Leisure Centre, and we’d like you to take part!
This event aims to bring together members and non-members aged 60+ to participate in a mixture of sports competitions, giving you the chance to represent your local leisure centre and make new friends whilst getting active together.
Below is everything you need to know...
What is the Club Games?
Our corporate mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of the communities we operate within through physical activity and sport.
The Club Games first launched in London in 2007 and have grown bigger and better each year!
This year, we wanted to extend the opportunity to our outer-London partnerships to get involved as well. We are hosting a Senior Club Games at York Leisure Centre in York made up of Pickleball, Walking Netball, Timed Swim and Timed Cycle.
Format
Club Games will be a pairs competition (but don’t worry if you don’t have a partner and you still want to compete – complete the entrance form and we’ll do our best to pair you up!) consisting of four sports.
Each pair must compete in two sports, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Payment
To participate in this year's club games, you'll be charged a small fee of £4.50 per person, which can be paid by card at reception at your chosen leisure centre prior to the event.
Schedule
Registration will open at 9.30am. Please note that to take part in the event you must compete in a morning and afternoon sport. If entering a pair, then both players will need to compete in the same sports.
Sports Round 1 (Timed Swim and Walking Netball): 10am-Midday
