Better's Abbey Meadows Lido in Abingdon, Oxfordshire hosted its annual dog swim this week (Monday 8 September) welcoming 225 hounds (and their owners) for some fun and frollicks before the pool closes for the winter season.
The canine visitors demonstrated their doggy paddle and splashed about with their furry friends playing with a host of doggie toys and even enjoying doggie icecreams.
The doggie swim capped off a successful summer season at Abbey Meadows Lido - which saw an increased footfall of 112% between June and August (compared to the same period in 2024), boosted by the summer heatwaves.
