New LED Floodlights investment on State of Art 4G Pitch at Whiterock Leisure Centre

Project for LED FLoodlights for the state of the art 4G Pitch at Whiterock Leisure Centre has been completed. In May 2022 Belfast City Council had overseen the £150,000 upgrade of the 3G pitch to a state of the art 4G playing surface.  This leisure investment  with Belfast City Council partnership was successfully completed and LED Floodlights project was to improve and promote our green energy agenda as well as dramatically improve players experience with brand new lighting. 

Thank to this investment we are delighted to host a Youth intervention programme until the late evening during the summer.  We will be ready for the upcoming new football season so we can accommodate local clubs with better light conditions to improve their overall experience. Players and also spectators will be able to enjoy better and brighter conditions.
