Car Park Improvements Are Here!

Better, Truro Leisure Centre now operates an automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system. This is to combat the high levels of unauthorised parking by students and non centre users which has regularly resulted in restricted access to car parking for our own customers.

How will this affect me?

From Monday 19th August 2019, we will continue to provide free parking for our customers for up to three hours per visit however you will be required to register your car on arrival to the centre each time that you visit. There will be two tablets located in the reception area where you will be required to input the registration number of your vehicle when you arrive. 

What if I do not register my vehicle details when I visit?

Please be aware that failure to register your vehicle, will result in a £100 charge notice being issued to you. This will be discounted to £60 if paid within 14 days. Please note that the charges are enforced by a third party and not controlled by Better.
