International Women’s Day is a global day to celebrate the social, cultural, and political achievements of women and reinforce a commitment to women’s equality.
On Wednesday 8th March, at Barking Sporthouse we will be celebrating International Women’s Day (IWD) with a series of fitness based activities and classes to mark this world wide awareness day. IWD is a day where we stop to acknowledge and celebrate all the accomplishments made by women throughout history and around the world. The awareness days shines a light on all the work being done to address issues such as violence against women and girls, gender inequality and access to career advancement.
