Whats happening at Barking Sporthouse & Gym this November!
Well, Barking Sporthouse has had a very busy few weeks.
The half term holidays brought in a number of people using our facilities.
The trampoline park had one of its busiest weeks so far. We hosted a successful Halloween trampoline disco evening. Customers were treated to a live DJ; bouncing around to all the latest music tracks, Halloween games and prizes for the kids as well as food provided. All those attended said they had a fantastic time and would come again to the next event! We also had customers trying out and returning for another go at our Clip and Climb walls. And with the weather change the skate park has seen an increase of visitors using one of London’s largest indoor skate parks.
What’s new?
Well Birthday parties are now available to book online or via the app!
Yes that’s right customers can now go online and pay the deposit for the initial 10 children to secure their booking for either a trampoline or Soft play party. Party prices have seen a small increase: Trampoline parties are now £21 per head (£210 for initial deposit) and Soft Play £17.40 per head (£174 for initial deposit). Parties do include 1 hr activity time, 45 minutes in the party room, a meal for the children and unlimited squash!
When using the trampoline park we do advise parents to read the terms and conditions carefully when purchasing tickets as adult: child ratios do apply for safety of the children on the park. So, let’s go through it! Any child aged between 18months and 4years must have 1 adult bouncing with them at all times (1:1 ratio). Any children aged between 5-7 years must have 1 adult bouncing for up to 10 children in this age group (1:10 ratio). Children aged 8 years and over do not need an adult bouncing so parents for over 8s can supervise whilst sitting on the mezzanine with a nice beverage in hand which is available from our café.
What else is happening in centre?
The sports hall is hosting a number of private events over the coming months. Handball season is back on and their Several Handball club fixtures are being held here at Barking on a number of weekends. We have a new event taking place, Floor Ball! A UK league rink based ball sport, first match taking place Sunday November 13th, we are intrigued to how this is played. Something new and exciting! We also are holding Futsal4kids held here every Tuesday evening from 6-8pm so if you have any kids interested?? Come alone and take a look. If that’s not your cup of tea we also have children’s Karate lessons here every Thursday 5:15-6:15pm, again if you have any kids interested in taking up the sport please come in and enquire.
